Something big and red lies on the lower floor of PROPS DEPARTMENT, behind a wall. From inside the room there is no way down to it.

Look at the room to its right, A ROOM WITH A VIEW: its left side has no floor.
Nudge 2A stronger push
A ROOM WITH A VIEW is reached from the top of the steps on the left of THE STUDIOS. Those steps are reached from a passage running above THE LIFT and THE BACK PASSAGE.

That upper passage starts at a gap in FIRST FLOOR's lower floor. Get there by the lift's upper stop in FIRST FLOOR and PROPS DEPARTMENT's left side.

Ride the lift to FIRST FLOOR's upper stop. Walk right into PROPS DEPARTMENT's left side, drop down it and walk back left onto FIRST FLOOR's lower floor, right of the lift shaft. Drop through the gap in that floor: you land in a passage above THE LIFT. Follow it right, above THE BACK PASSAGE, to the steps at the top left of THE STUDIOS, go up into A ROOM WITH A VIEW and walk off its bottom left corner: you come out on PROPS DEPARTMENT's lower floor beside the big balloon. Leave the way you came: back right into A ROOM WITH A VIEW, whose pocket drops you onto the steps in THE STUDIOS.
Why it works
The studio building is one connected block of rooms, but its floors only join at a few places. This is the one way onto that floor.
