The game

His big break. His boss's holiday. His problem.

Seymour has landed the starring role of his dreams. There's just one snag: the studio boss has flown off to Miami, and the film script is nowhere to be found. Explore a sprawling Hollywood studio, talk your way past its staff, sneak onto its film sets and get the cameras rolling.

What's in it

The original, 1993

  • 77 rooms: a film studio, a maze of backlots and eight film sets, each a parody of a classic.

  • AdLib and PC-speaker music, and plenty of jokes.

The remake

  • Plays exactly like the 1993 DOS release: checked frame by frame against the original, through a whole game.
  • Eight save slots with pictures, plus quick save and load.
  • Game controllers and key rebinding.
  • Fullscreen at any size, an optional CRT look, and cheats if you want them.

Rebuilt by Enthusiast Guy

Byte by byte

Not an emulator, and not a remake from memory: every rule of the original program was traced and rebuilt in modern C++, then checked against the original running in an emulator, frame for frame, from the first step to the ending.
