The cowboy on the staircase throws me back

On THE STAIRCASE in Sal's saloon a cowboy stops Seymour: "AND WHERE MIGHT YOU BE GOIN??", and throws him back down.
Nudge 1Where to look
Listen to what Seymour says to him when he has something to show: "I KNOW YOU MURDERED THE STIFF!"
Nudge 2A stronger push
He wants proof: "THATS NOT ENOUGH EVIDENCE TO PIN IT ON ME!!" or "YOU WILL NEED A WARRANT FIRST!!".
Nudge 3Almost there
Carry three things at once: the warrant and two kinds of evidence from the crime scene.

Come to the staircase carrying the arrest warrant, the marked deck of cards and a dollar piece (Rick says there's been a murder). The cowboy gives himself up: "ITS A FAIR COP ILL GO QUIETLY". He ends up in THE LOCKUP under the police station, and the staircase is free from then on.
Why it works
The cowboy's script checks for the warrant, the deck and any of the three dollars; with all three it sets the flag that Rick, the stairs and the lockup read.
