Barrels keep knocking me down
On KING KONG and KING KONG, HALF WAY, barrels come bouncing down from the top of the building every few seconds, and each one that hits Seymour costs energy.

Carry the mallet from the first maze room (the one with the Grease door). With it in the inventory, a barrel that reaches Seymour while he's standing on the ground gets batted away. Barrels that catch him in mid-air still hurt, so climb between throws, and stand still on a girder when one is coming. Once Kong has eaten (King Kong at the top), he stops throwing.
Why it works
When a barrel touches Seymour the game checks for the mallet and for standing on the ground: both, and Seymour bats it; otherwise he loses energy while it touches him.
