A door in the maze won't open

Seymour presses action at a door in the maze: "EITHER THIS DOOR IS STUCK OR, IT IS LOCKED!!". Or, holding a key: "NOPE WRONG KEY, OR PERHAPS JUST THE WRONG DOOR!".
Nudge 1Where to look
Each door onto a film set needs its own studio key, and the keys all look the same.
Nudge 2A stronger push
Studio keys are scattered all over the game: on film sets, in huts, in a café, on an island. Every new key opens one more door, which leads to the next key.
Nudge 3Almost there
A key is used up in a way: once a door has opened, it stays open for good, so you can leave that key behind.
Show the solutionThe whole answer, with a video
There are eight studio keys and eight set doors in the maze. Which key opens which door:
| Key found in | Opens the door to |
|---|---|
| SPECIAL EFFECTS, high floor (The high floor in Special Effects) | Grease |
| THE MALT SHOP (Grease) | Flash Boredom |
| the pirate's tree hut (The pirate won't let me in) | The Big Country |
| a tree hut in MORE TREE HUTS (The tree hut with spikes on the floor) | The Wizard of Oz |
| THE GARDEN SHED on the island (Bringing everything back from the island) | Rick Bracy |
| THE CASTLE TOP (Oz) (The flying thing on the castle top) | Sherlock Bones |
| INSIDE GREASY LILS (What does Lil want?) | Frank Einstein |
| OPERATING THEATRE (Frank Einstein) (Getting into the operating theatre) | King Kong |
Press action at the door with the right key in the inventory: "WOW! THE KEY FITS!".
Why it works
Each maze door's script checks for one key object; when it matches, it sets the door's flag and from then on lets Seymour through without asking.
