In the hut in CHEZ TARZAN a pirate stands in the way: "AND WHERE MIGHT YOU BE GOIN??". There's a studio key and something sharp in there.

Bring the pirate his parrot, Polly. When she flies in through the door, he cries "ARGH ME HEARTIES IT BE POLLY, BLIND ME WITH A MARLINSPIKE ELSE" and stops guarding the hut: take the sharp dagger and the studio key (it opens the door to The Big Country in the maze).
Why it works
The pirate's script blocks Seymour until the parrot's arrival sets a flag; a touch area at the top of the hut sets it when the parrot gets there.
