Ming throws me out
In THE SPACE BASE, Ming the Merciless isn't pleased to see Seymour: "BE OFF WITH YOU, YOU PESKY LITTLE BALL OF LARD!!", and out he goes.
Nudge 1Where to look
Ming doesn't like the look of Seymour. Perhaps he'd like him better as someone else, or would like something to drink.
Nudge 2A stronger push
Special effects can do amazing things. One sits in a bottle on a bench.
Nudge 3Almost there
It's on the high floor of SPECIAL EFFECTS (The high floor in Special Effects).

Carry the magic potion from SPECIAL EFFECTS when you meet Ming, and he lets Seymour be. Take the detonator that lies in the base: you'll want it in Dirk's office (Finding the film script).
