Finding the film script
DIRKS OFFICE has a desk, a computer and a safe in the corner. Pippa said the script is in here, but the safe won't open.

Nobody left the combination. Safes in films get opened the loud way.
Nudge 2A stronger push
You need two things, both from film sets: something that goes bang, and something that sets it off. One comes from the police, the other from a space villain's base.

Put the first one down on the floor near the safe, then press action while carrying the second.

Bring the keg of gunpowder Rick gives Seymour (Rick says there's been a murder) and the detonator from THE SPACE BASE (Ming throws me out). In DIRKS OFFICE drop the gunpowder on the floor to the right, near the safe, and press action with the detonator in the inventory: "COVER YOUR EARS THIS ONES GOING TO BE NOISY!!". The safe blows open: pick up the movie script. And then Seymour finds out that the cast are all in Miami too: see Where on earth can Seymour find 16 actors?.
Why it works
The game checks, whenever action is pressed in this room, for the detonator carried while the gunpowder lies on the right half of the floor. Both are used up and the script appears.
