Up the trees, up the lift

From MGAMBA VILLAGE, climb. Go right to THE UMBABWE BANK and up into MGAMBA TREE HUTS, then up and left through MORE TREE HUTS and CHEZ TARZAN to ISNT THIS HIGH?. Branches and planks can be jumped through from below.

Press action at the hut's door to go in. A red parrot flutters about (you'll need her later), and on the left lies a tool.

The shades have done their job: leave them here. Go back out and climb down to MGAMBA VILLAGE. The hut at ground level there has clothes in it.

Now back to the studio: past Tarzan, into the first maze room, through its gap to THE STUDIOS and left to THE LIFT. Walk onto the lift's platform with the spanner.

The lift works now. Stand in the middle and press up once per stop: two stops in THE LIFT, two in FIRST FLOOR, two in TOP FLOOR. Ride to TOP FLOOR's lower stop.

From there, walk right along the lower floor into SPECIAL EFFECTS and drop through the gap in its floor into PROPS DEPARTMENT. Walk right and climb the shaft on the far right of SPECIAL EFFECTS, ledge by ledge, to the high band on its left. Stop a little short of the barrel and pick up the key: if both are in reach, the barrel gets taken.

Back down the shaft, back through PROPS DEPARTMENT, and ride the lift from TOP FLOOR's lower stop down to FIRST FLOOR's lower stop. Walk left into MAKE UP, climb through the gap in its floor and walk right along the upper floor, back into FIRST FLOOR.
